Description of Yale University

   Abraham Pierson in 1701 founded the first state university in Connecticut, the Collegiate School in Killingworthy 15 years later, thanks to the generous donations of Elihu Yale, the institution not only moved to New Haven, but was renamed in honor of his benefactor. Born then we know today as Yale University.
   Currently the university consists of a school for careers, graduate school of Arts and Sciences, and eleven professional associations, among which are those of medicine, theology, law, music, nursing, architecture, drama, forestry and environment, fine arts, engineering and business. In total, twelve buildings to accommodate about 11,250 students.
   All this academic offer is completed with a wide range of educational resources for the student to more easily reach success in their studies. These resources emphasize libraries that has not only important collections of books, but also hemereotecas, film and other on-line resources.    It should be noted also its four museums, considered the most important State of Connecticut, and among them are the Art Gallery of British Art Museum, Collection of Musical Instruments and the Peabody Museum of Natural History.

   And of course, mention the college team, the Yale Bulldogs, who participates in the university league in sports, like basketball, baseball, athletics, sailing, soccer, rugby and many others.
